Our Rare Leon Dance Festival Limassol 2025 Welcome to ''Our Rare Leon Dance Festival Limassol 2025'', where dancers perform not just for applause, but for a cause! Each school that enters The Festival chooses a charity to represent, and competes not just to win prizes for themselves, but donations for the choosed charity as well. Dancers perform not just for applause, but for a cause! The message that Our Rare Leon wants to send to your kids, and ours, is that their talents and gifts do not reach their true potential until they are used to help others. Twenty years from today, your dancer will not remember what color ribbon she got last weekend. But she will remember the time that she danced to help pay for a baby's surgery. Or to grant a gravely ill child's wish. She'll remember that she joined with her fellow friends in a common cause, and that together they made a difference in someone's life. And that's why we've decided to harness The Dance Festival, and to encourage today's dancers to not only do well, but to do Good. We hope you'll join us!! Entries are accepted on a first come/first served basis, and are limited to performance time available.p

Festival de Danse Limassol 2025

"Our Rare Leon Dance Festival" is an annual charity festival for dance schools from all over Cyprus, held in Limassol. But it's not just a competition it's a celebration of dance with a deeper purpose.

The festival is organized by the Phoenix Association (N.P 37/2025), held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of Cyprus, and supported by ECOmbare and the Nɛpó kaι Xpúμa organization. It is dedicated to Leon Charalambous Hadjicharalambous — a ten-year-old boy and the first child in Cyprus diagnosed with Niemann-Pick A/B disease.

Thanks to ongoing treatment and the support of the community, Leon is now giving back by helping other children with rare diseases through this festival.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Little Heroes Foundation.

Our Vision

We believe true talent shines brightest when it's used to help others. Long after the performances dancers will remember how their performance helped pay for a child's surgery or made a dream come true for a seriously ill child. They'll remember coming together with friends to make a real difference.

That's the heart of this festival: celebrating great dancing while encouraging young people to support other children with rare diseases.

Entry is free for participants, with limited spots available on a first- come, first-served basis. All participants must register through a school; individual entries are not accepted.
